Determining your budget for a vacation is the first step in planning a holiday. Travel companies offer a wide range of vacations to Barbados to suit most budgets. The quantity of savings you have set aside for your vacation will determine the types of accommodations and amenities you will be able to book.
Budget Packages
If you are vacationing on a tight budget, this does not mean that you can’t expect to find comfortable accommodations or have a great time. There are many all-inclusive packages and budget vacation packages that have plenty to offer for a fraction of the price of luxury five-star packages.
Many budget packages include airfare, but don’t expect to be sitting in first class. Fortunately, the flight to Barbados is only a few hours long, and most airlines provide snacks and in-flight movies. Accommodations are usually booked at three-star hotels or resorts. Rooms may not include concierge service, ocean views or whirlpool tubs, but if you plan on spending most of your time on the beach or exploring the island, you probably won’t mind. Accommodations are typically comfortable and clean and include the necessities. Some hotels may include a continental breakfast in the room rate.
If you are looking for a hotel with more services, but at a lower price, you may consider finding a package that includes accommodations that are set back from the beach a bit. You may have to walk a few minutes to get to the beach, but you could get a more luxurious hotel for a better rate.
Luxury Packages
Barbados is a hot spot for the rich and famous, so there are many luxury vacation packages to be had. Luxury packages include everything from first class or business class airfare to spacious rooms with breathtaking views. Accommodations are typically five-star resorts or townhouses and perks include concierge service and valet parking.
Luxury vacation packages usually come with plenty of benefits. Guests may be treated to spa services, get reservations at the most popular restaurants and get preferred tee times at the island’s best golf courses. Water sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing, are generally included in the vacation package price.
